The “gold standard” ascribed to Island View comes not only through the richness and depth of each “food group”but the manner in which our delivery systems are integrated. The right hand knows what the left hand is doing, assuring that all variables of change are brought to bear in a coordinated, collaborative fashion. In that sense, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

How do we know that Island View is effective? Because we have the data to back it up! Thirteen years of consumer satisfaction studies and outcome surveys from Island View graduates and their parents tell us that approximately 85% of parents have found the program effective or highly effective in returning their child to emotional health. Since we follow all Island View graduates for two years following graduation,we know that the maintenance effect of changed behavior is enduring at a similar level. Change at Island View is not short lived, or a “flash in the pan.”

The Aspen Education Group, of which Island View is a member program, recently conducted a landmark, hard data outcome study with overwhelmingly positive results. Conducted by an independent research group, the study shows statistically significant evidence of adolescents returning to normalized, pro-social, and functional behavior.

Island View is committed to provide state-of-the-art programming. We work to prove this and to make further improvements through consumer surveys and independent research. By “cooking on all burners”we can truly make a difference.
